Job Description Summary
The Senior Director will lead the field service organization for US Surgery and USCAN SVG, owning the P&L and the end-to-end service delivery experience for customers across the United States. This is a functional leadership role: you set direction for a multi-layer field organization, and you are accountable for its financial results, its people, and the clinical uptime our customers depend on.

Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.
Job Description
Essential responsibilities
-
Own the P&L. Carry full financial accountability for the US field service organization and build the operating discipline across your leadership team to hit revenue, cost, and margin commitments.
-
Run Heartbeat the operating system. Own the US Surgery Service Heartbeat Key Performance Indicator bowler across Commercial, Service Delivery, and Safety.
-
Grow the service business. Drive service revenue growth across Surgery and SVG through contract renewals, post-warranty conversion, and NPI-led market expansion.
-
Land new products and drive digital adoption. Own NPI delivery in the field — install timelines, quality and cost targets, and serviceability feedback to the product teams. Drive adoption of remote connectivity, AI-driven predictive service, including connect-at-install and Digital Core activation during deployment.
-
Build the field workforce. Own FE hiring, retention, certification, and territory coverage. Recurring PM and productivity misses in this region trace directly to manpower gaps. Use the competency model to build frontline capability.
-
Set direction and culture. Define the priorities and initiatives that keep financial, employee, and customer goals on track across the region. Model the Heartbeat Behaviors daily and hold safety without compromise for patients, customers, devices, and the team, with zero shortcuts and zero exceptions.
-
Lead the leaders. Coach, develop, and build succession for your leadership team, and hold a high bar for how the organization treats its people. Hire and retain diverse top talent, and use recognition deliberately to build the next generation of leaders.
-
Own quality and compliance. Drive rigorous adherence to GE HealthCare's Quality Management System and product quality standards in every part of the organization, including non-conformance closure and supplier quality escalation where field data indicates a systemic defect.
-
Build senior customer relationships. Establish and sustain enterprise-level relationships that materially affect the financial and clinical health of our largest accounts.
-
Share what works. Partner with service leaders across GE HealthCare to identify best practices and put them into use in your region.
-
Keep people safe. Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures.
Required

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical leadership experience in lieu of a degree.
-
10+ years of leadership experience in a corporate or military environment.
-
Demonstrated P&L ownership, with a track record of profitable growth and operational discipline.
