JOB.TITLE, OU.LOCATION&Arkansas

Ready to take what you're

learning in school and put it to work? At Interfor, we're looking for future

leaders who are curious, hands-on, and eager to learn. You'll work alongside

experienced procurement professionals, build practical skills, and gain a better

understanding of how wood procurement, log valuation, contractor relationships,

data collection, and process improvement support our mill operations. If you

enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and learning how logs move from the

forest to the mill, this could be the summer opportunity for you!

This position requires you

to be on-site to perform the job duties and ideally the candidate will start in

May 2027 and be available from 4-8 months.

compensation for interns, including:

  • Salariesstarting from $3,700 per month (based on your year inschool and previous experience).

  • Temporaryliving allowance for interns moving to the area forthe role.

What You’ll Do

  • Gethands-on exposure to wood procurement and the role it plays in supportingmill operations.

  • Assist withlog valuation and stumpage acquisition activities.

  • Learn howstrong relationships with logging contractors support safe and efficientoperations.

  • Collect andorganize data to support procurement decisions and day-to-day activities.

  • Contributeto process improvement projects while learning from experiencedprocurement professionals.

What You Offer

  • You arecurrently enrolled in a recognized university or college program relatedto forestry, natural resources, or wood products processing.

  • You have abasic understanding of workplace safety rules and regulations.

  • You arephysically able and willing to work outdoors in hot or inclement weatherconditions.

  • You have avalid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
