Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Quality Engineer to join our team. The BTP Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing a re-useable approach to BTP Test Automation. You will be expected to understand and analyze the requirements and procedures of BTP Testing and create, execute, and optimize BTP Test Cases, Test Automation, and Automation Scripts. You will be operating from a 3rd party perspective and therefore must have excellent problem-solving skills and need to be able to field sufficient soft skills to work with other teams and people without causing friction.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a reusable approach to BTP Test Automation and the associated framework

• Coach and mentor others on the adoption of BTP Test Automation technologies and techniques

• Analyze and understand BTP Testing Procedures and Requirements

• Develop and execute BTP test plans, cases, and automation, including manual testing when required

• Identify, document, and conduct follow-ups on bugs and quality issues. This includes utilizing logging, monitoring, and other tools to provide information upstream.

• Regularly revisit BTP test cases and strategy to incorporate the latest product functionality based on rapid release plans for a multitude of products.

• Reporting on and documenting BTP testing status and results

• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the use and troubleshooting of BTP services

The BTP Quality Engineer will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality. Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation
• Experience working with SAP BTP extensions and services from the technical side
• 3+ years of experience in cloud platform testing
• 4+ years of experience with Java
• 5+ years of experience with test management systems, such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Can accept experience with - SAP CPI/Integration Suite, Cloud Foundry, API Management, HANA Cloud
