Key Responsibilities

Supervise and evaluate field technicians, drivers, and support staff when operating in the shop.

Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Assist in developing and implementing goals, objectives, and policies for the repair, refurb, and rental divisions.

Oversee the scheduling and completion of vehicle maintenance and repair.
-
Monitor and control repair facility activities.
-
Perform mechanical duties and inspections as needed.
-
Develop and implement safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs.
-
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, such as DOT and OSHA.

Coordinate and schedule trips, drivers, and routes for timely delivery.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with drivers or trucks.

Prepare reports on fleet activities, maintenance, and costs.

Standardize, draft, and implement shop control measures to ensure the repeatable, efficient processes as they relate to inter-shop activities.
Competencies and skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and field staff.

Must be comfortable using computers, phones, and other office equipment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records, and stay organized is crucial for coordinating operations effectively.

Must be able to think critically and solve problems quickly, especially under pressure.

This role requires the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
