About the Role:

As a Regulatory Change Management Director at CBRE, you will be responsible for building and implementing a risk-based regulatory change management program to facilitate CBRE's compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Vice President, Compliance & Regulatory Governance, this role requires strong stakeholder engagement, analytical skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives within a global organization. If you are a strategic thinker passionate about building scalable regulatory change programs that balance business and compliance solutions, we invite you to apply.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement. Candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones are preferred.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a regulatory change management program to identify, assess, and track regulatory changes affecting CBRE's business operations.

  • Implement processes, tools and technology to identify and communicate regulatory developments, updates, and changes in relevant jurisdictions, industries, and sectors.

  • Collaborate with business leaders, functional teams, and subject matter experts to develop and maintain comprehensive regulatory registers to track regulatory changes, their impact, and associated actions.

  • Lead, develop, and mentor regulatory compliance professionals, including performance management, coaching, talent development, succession planning, and workforce planning activities.

  • Develop and implement a risk-based approach to support compliance with regulatory changes, while minimizing disruption to business operations.

  • Develop and disseminate clear, concise, and timely communications to relevant stakeholders on regulatory changes, their impact, and required actions.

  • Partner with subject matter experts to conduct regular regulatory impact assessments to develop, monitor, and validate remediation plans addressing identified compliance gaps, implementation challenges, and control deficiencies.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including Risk, Ethics and Compliance, Legal, People, Digital & Technology and Sustainability to ensure effective implementation of actions in response to regulatory changes.

  • Establish and maintain the governance framework supporting regulatory change management, including accountability structures, escalation protocols, reporting routines, implementation standards, and oversight processes.

  • Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of the regulatory change management program and identify areas for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging regulatory issues.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution; advanced degree such as an MBA or Juris Doctor (JD) strongly preferred.

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, regulatory change management, governance, risk management, or related functions, including 3+ years in a leadership role within a multinational organization.

  • Proven experience building and implementing regulatory change management programs.

  • Experience evaluating and interpreting regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions and translating requirements into practical business actions.

  • Strategic thinking and proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives within a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship building skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Legal, Finance, HR, Operations, and business leadership.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
