Full job description

Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure support, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting facility maintenance and technical operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center / Facilities Technician

Location: Hartland, WI

Pay Range: $30/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems within data center environments.

  • Follow strict procedures and safety protocols to ensure the integrity of critical infrastructure.

  • Assist with building inspections, managing work orders, and supporting operational projects.

  • Monitor utility usage, energy management, and preventive maintenance activities.

  • Conduct walk-throughs, check temperature readings, and respond to operational irregularities.

What's Needed?

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs safely and work at heights up to 30 feet.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to work diverse shifts, including weekends and overtime.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Comfortable following detailed procedures and learning new technical skills.
