Full job description
🙋♀️ what’s the job? Tocco is building the operating system for future materials — a platform where designers, buyers, and makers discover and use radically better materials. We’ve launched. The users are real. The product is live. The mission is clear. Now we’re looking for a Founder Associate who thrives in ambiguity, acts fast, and turns loose ideas into systems, content, and real product delivery — a sharp, structured generalist who thrives in early-stage chaos. You’ll help us turn ambiguity into action, systems, and structure — from supplier onboarding to internal automation. This is a multi-stack role — not just helping, but owning. For someone who’s operated in both the physical and digital worlds: you’ve been around (actual or metaphorical) logistics, warehouses, or inventory workflows enough to speak the language, and you’re equally comfortable cleaning up Notion boards or automating repetitive tasks. Think: detail-obsessed operator with calm energy and a low tolerance for inefficiency. 💥 what you’ll do you’ll help Tocco run — smoothly, cleanly, and with structure that scales. You’ll operate at the nerve centre of Tocco — building the connective tissue across product, operations, content, and culture. 🔧 Build internal structure from chaos → Timeline clarity, task ownership, project cadences — Notion becomes a machine 📚 Support content & editorial execution → Help structure reports, materials curation, supplier pages, visual briefs 🧠 Drive product thinking and micro launches → Work with product/design to move features from idea → shipped (Unbox, Library, Awards) 🎙️ Prepare materials for investors, users, and partners → Decks, briefings, case studies, speaker notes — clear, confident, and well-formatted 🛠 Maintain our operational brain → SOPs, feedback loops, internal dashboards — using Notion, Typeform, Airtable, and AI tools 📦 (Optional) Touch the physical world too → If curious: coordinate Unbox logistics, supplier shipping, inventory workflows 🧰 tools + skills you’ll use often What you’ll use regularly — and what we hope you’re great at. ⭐️ Bonus points for:
-
Exposure to procurement, supplier onboarding, or compliance processes
-
Previous experience in a startup or fast-moving ops team
-
Familiarity with sustainable supply chains or materials
-
Owning detail-first, no-fuss, low-drama operator energy ✅ You don’t need to know all of these — you just need the mindset to figure it out fast. 🎯 if this sounds like you…
-
✅ You love turning ambiguity into structure
-
✅ You’ve shipped real projects (side project, team lead, internal sprint)
-
✅ You’re obsessed with clarity, deadlines, and unblocking people
-
✅ You write well — and can brief others even better
-
✅ You’ve got taste: not just pretty decks, but good judgment
-
✅ You’re a systems thinker who automates first and asks later
-
✅ Preferably: You’re based in Europe ⭐ Bonus Points For…
-
🧵 You’ve worked with designers or product teams
-
📦 You’ve touched supply chain, logistics, or physical ops
-
🧠 You’ve built or maintained Notion-based PM systems
-
🧘♀️ You carry calm, low-drama operator energy
-
🔍 You’ve run interviews, user research, or built knowledge hubs
-
💡 You bring both structure and taste to what you touch 🚫 not the job for you if...
-

🌍 Remote-first flexibility (needless to say that comes with reliability & responsibility)
-
🧠 Huge ownership + daily collaboration with founders
-
🌱 Work that connects to the climate, design, and future materials movement
