Full job description

About Campfire Campfire is a next-gen core accounting platform built for modern mid-market finance teams. We've grown 10x in the past year by replacing outdated legacy ERPs and manual accounting processes with automation-driven solutions. As a Deployment Strategist, you'll be on the front line of getting customers live — owning the technical execution that turns a signed contract into a fully operational finance system. The Role This is an execution-focused, hands-on role responsible for driving successful platform deployments from kickoff to go-live. You'll own the implementation lifecycle end-to-end: scoping, configuration, data migration, testing, and launch. Success looks like customers up and running quickly, cleanly, and confidently — with the systems, integrations, and workflows they need to run their finance operations day one. What you'll do

  • Own deployments end-to-end, from kickoff through go-live and post-launch stabilization

  • Configure the platform to match each customer's accounting workflows, reporting structures, and integration requirements

  • Lead data migration from source systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and clean cutover

  • Build and execute testing and validation plans across financial workflows and integrations

  • Manage project plans, timelines, and dependencies across multiple concurrent implementations

  • Identify technical and delivery risks early — across data, systems, and process — and resolve them before they impact launch

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to unblock issues and feed customer needs back into the roadmap

  • Ensure a clean handoff to post-implementation support

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience leading software implementations, system rollouts, or technical deployments

  • Strong comfort with data migration, system configuration, and integrations

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle) and financial data structures

  • Sharp project-management instincts — able to run multiple deployments in parallel without dropping details

  • A problem-solver who spots risk early and drives issues to resolution

  • Excellent stakeholder communication, with a customer-first mindset

  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment

  • CPA or Accounting background is a plus.
