General Description:
The Senior Director, Delivery Excellence leads the delivery function for BeOne's global ERP Center of Excellence (CoE), focused on SAP. The role defines how ERP work is planned, staffed, executed, tested, validated, released, measured, and improved across functional, technical, architecture, business-facing technology, and partner teams.
The goal is simple: predictable delivery, measurable quality, controlled releases, and transparent resource utilization and capacity.
As a senior ERP CoE leader, the Senior Director builds and leads a global Delivery Excellence organization and drives end-to-end execution from intake through deployment and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Delivery Operating Model
-
Define and continuously improve ERP delivery governance, roles, controls, and standards.
-
Implement end-to-end delivery ways of working that incorporate Agile principles to improve flow, transparency, responsiveness, and accountability.

Orchestrate end-to-end execution across the SAP Functional and Technical CoEs, from intake through stabilization.
Capacity & Portfolio Management
-
Maximize utilization of resources by aligning skills and capacity to prioritized demand and actively managing constraints and trade-offs.

Manage capacity elastically across internal teams, partners, and contingent resources; align commitments to available capacity.

Ensure team members charge time to projects accurately and capitalize eligible labor where appropriate, consistent with Finance policy.
Quality & Compliance
-
Lead test strategy, regression automation, quality gates, defect management, and quality metrics.

Embed GxP, computer system validation, and quality requirements into delivery using risk-based approaches and clear GxP/non-GxP scope.
Release, Lifecycle & Tooling
-
Own release calendars, environment coordination, deployment readiness, cutover governance, and upgrade/lifecycle planning.

Own JIRA/ALM workflows, data standards, dashboards, automation, and delivery reporting.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
-
Establish metrics for throughput, predictability, cycle time, quality, release performance, testing effectiveness, resource utilization, and capacity; turn insights into action.

Remove bottlenecks, simplify processes, expand automation, and drive adoption of standard ways of working.
Governance & Leadership
-
Partner with Enterprise Architecture and the Design Authority to reinforce standards, Clean Core, and cross-functional solution integrity.

Hold delivery partners accountable for quality, documentation, controls, performance, and knowledge transfer.

Build and lead a high-performing global Delivery Excellence team with clear accountability, development, and succession.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Leads a global Delivery Excellence organization spanning delivery management, release and lifecycle management, quality/testing/validation, test automation, process and tooling, ALM/JIRA enablement, and delivery reporting.

Provides direct and matrix leadership, talent development, succession planning, and elastic workforce/capacity management across employees and contingent resources.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field with 12+ years of progressive enterprise technology, ERP delivery, applications, or program/portfolio management experience, including senior leadership in complex global environments or a Master's degree (preferred) with 10 + years of progressive enterprise technology, ERP delivery, applications, or program/portfolio management experience, including senior leadership in complex global environments.

Demonstrated experience leading large-scale SAP/ERP delivery organizations or transformation programs across functional, technical, testing, release, and operations teams.
-
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA delivery lifecycles and dependencies across configuration, development, integration, security, Basis/platform, data, testing, and release management.
-
Proven experience with demand management, estimation, capacity planning, portfolio governance, resource allocation, and delivery performance management across concurrent initiatives.
-
Strong experience in quality engineering, enterprise testing strategy, regression automation, defect management, and release-quality metrics.

Experience in a regulated life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or similarly controlled environment; working knowledge of GxP and computer system validation strongly preferred.

Experience with JIRA and SAP-focused ALM platforms; strong use of data and metrics to drive decisions and continuous improvement.

Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, organizational change, and vendor management skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead globally distributed teams and strategic service partners across geographies and time zones.
-
Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, resource planning, and balancing internal capacity with external services.

Ability to travel internationally as needed.
