Full job description

VIP Office Administrator Opportunities for Otsego's Violence Intervention Program (https://ofoinc.org/find-program/violence-intervention-program) team is seeking a skilled office administrator to organize and coordinate office operations and procedures for OFO's Violence Intervention Program (VIP). For nearly 30 years, the Violence Intervention Program (https://ofoinc.org/find-program/violence-intervention-program) has provided support to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes throughout Otsego County. The VIP Office Administrator makes a difference by:

  • Scheduling client appointments and providing the programs daily schedules to reception

  • Generating program purchase requests/orders, check requests, and reconciling program invoices

  • Entering data into data bases and assisting in program data management

  • Tracking and maintaining VIP program revenue and expenditures

  • Assisting program staff with routine information technology and office equipment problems

  • Maintaining fixed asset inventory and coordinating orders of supplies and materials

Minimum Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED/HSED required; Associate’s degree in business administration desirable; two years of relevant experience in office and administrative work; strong skills in spreadsheet and database software, office organization, and interpersonal communication; valid, unrestricted New York State driver’s license

Working Conditions:

Typical office environment and equipment; occasional local travel; work with clients in crisis

  • Standard Start Rate - education and experience meet job requirements
