Full job description

About 7AI 7AI is the foundational AI security company. Founded in 2024 by Cybereason co-founders Lior Div and Yonatan Striem-Amit, we came out of stealth in February 2025 to take on the non-human work of the SOC. Our platform pairs a federated SIEM with AI agents that detect, investigate, respond, and hunt, plus dedicated threat hunting and threat intelligence, with humans on the loop. Backed by $166 million in total funding from investors including Index Ventures and Blackstone, we're building the AI foundation for security operations in the agentic era, and we're still early. That's the appeal: you'll join at a pivotal stage where your work shapes what 7AI becomes, alongside security veterans who've built this before. Our culture runs on respect, collaboration, and a shared bar for excellence, all pointed at one goal, delivering real outcomes for the customers who trust us to defend them.

Overview You’ll be the single owner of how marketing at 7AI runs, from the systems and data to the AI agents and automation that allow a small team to operate like a much larger one. This is a build role, not a maintenance role. Our HubSpot and Salesforce foundation is already in place, but we need someone to take ownership, make the data reliable, and build a source of truth that gives us clear visibility into marketing’s impact as our sales organization scales. We’re also already using AI agents and automation across content, prospecting, research, and reporting, and you’ll own that ecosystem, expand what’s working, and identify new opportunities to automate. On top of that, you’ll oversee budget tracking and ROI reporting across our marketing stack, helping us understand where every dollar is going and what it’s producing. You’ll report directly to the CMO and work closely with sales leadership, revenue operations, and the broader marketing team. It’s a highly visible, hands-on role with real ownership and the opportunity to shape how we operate and scale.

What You'll Do

Systems foundation

  • HubSpot as the marketing system of record: data model, lifecycle stages, lead scoring, routing, workflows, and hygiene.

  • The HubSpot to Salesforce sync: field mapping, campaign and attribution objects, and the handoff rules sales actually follows.

  • Enrichment and data quality across the stack (Clay and similar tools), so every record sales touches is complete and current.

  • Integration and governance for the rest of the stack: webinar, events, intent, ABM, and content tools, and the rules for adding or removing them.

Measurement

  • One source of truth for pipeline sourced and influenced, funnel conversion, velocity, and spend efficiency, reported weekly and at the board cadence.

  • Campaign and channel attribution that sales and finance both trust.

  • Dashboards that answer the questions leadership asks before they ask them.

The AI and agent layer

  • Own, operate, and extend the agents and automations marketing already runs: content pipelines, prospecting and enrichment, competitive monitoring, reporting, and publishing.

  • Build new ones. Identify the repetitive work on the team, automate it, and measure the hours it returns.

  • Set the standards: how agents are documented, where their outputs land, and how humans review them.

Budget tracking and ROI

  • Track marketing spend by program and channel against pipeline produced, so leadership sees return by dollar, not by line item.

  • Run vendor contracts and renewals for the stack and flag what is overlapping or underperforming.

  • Produce the monthly spend and ROI view that demand gen, the CMO, and finance work from.

What We're Looking For

  • 5 or more years in marketing operations or revenue operations at a B2B software company, with at least one stretch at a company growing fast enough that the systems kept breaking.

  • Deep, hands-on HubSpot expertise. You have built the data model, the workflows, and the Salesforce sync yourself, not managed people who did.

  • Working fluency in Salesforce: objects, reports, campaign and attribution structures, and the realities of how a sales team uses it.

  • A measurement mindset. You can define pipeline attribution, defend it to a CRO and a CFO, and know where the numbers lie.

  • Real experience building with AI agents and automation tools, not just using chat assistants. You have wired up APIs, written prompts that run in production, and shipped automations other people depend on. Experience with Claude, MCP, or similar agent frameworks is a strong plus.

  • Enough technical comfort to read and write light code (Python, JavaScript, SQL), work with webhooks and APIs, and debug an integration without filing a ticket.

  • Experience tracking marketing spend and reporting it against pipeline and ROI, including vendor contracts and renewals.

  • Judgment about what not to build. You know the difference between an automation that returns hours and one that creates a maintenance burden.

  • Comfortable in a Boston office five days a week, working directly with the people whose problems you are solving.
