Location Description

The Troy, Alabama plant produces peanut butter, with annual production of approximately 78 million pounds. The site supports a team of more than 130 manufacturing and support employees.

Troy is a growing community in southeast Alabama and is home to Troy University, one of the largest universities in the state. The university brings energy, cultural opportunities, and community engagement to the area. Responsibilities

As HR Manager at our Troy, Alabama manufacturing facility, you will shape the employee experience and partner with plant leadership to align people strategies with business goals. You will help foster a safe, inclusive and high-performing environment where employees and leaders can grow and succeed.

This role leads a broad range of human resources priorities, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance and development, compliance, benefits support and HR reporting. Your work will directly influence workplace culture, employee engagement and the strength of the plant team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement recruiting strategies that attract qualified talent and meet the plant’s staffing needs.

  • Partner with plant leadership to anticipate workforce needs and deliver timely hiring solutions.

  • Advise leaders and employees on workplace matters, address concerns and support effective conflict resolution.

  • Strengthen an inclusive, engaging workplace culture that supports employee experience and retention.

  • Guide goal setting, performance reviews, development planning and performance-related conversations.

  • Identify skill gaps, coordinate training and advance career growth and succession-planning initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety standards and company policies while continually improving HR processes.

  • Administer benefit programs, support compensation strategies and champion employee wellness initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate HR records and use reporting and workforce insights to support decisions.

  • Master’s degree.

  • HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
