Posting Description

LEAD SALESFORCE FULL STACK DEVELOPER, EXECUTIVE EDUCATION, MIT Sloan Executive Education (MSEE), will play crucial role in developing and delivering high quality Salesforce applications and integrations; serve as technical lead and primary developer of the extensive MSEE Salesforce ecosystem, owning the architecture, design, and deployment of that ecosystem with broad impact across MSEE operations; and combine hands-on development, implementation, system administration, solution architecture, and integration leadership to support and enhance business operations across MSEE. This individual will lead a small team of external developers in the design, development, testing, and ongoing optimization of Salesforce multi-cloud platforms, including Digital Experience, Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, and Tableau; and works closely with MSEE staff and faculty to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Integration approaches and data standards connecting MSEE systems to enterprise and MIT systems are established jointly by MSEE and Sloan Technology Services.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; a minimum of seven years of relevant experience in Salesforce development, enterprise systems, or software engineering required, including demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-system initiatives; multi-cloud Salesforce experience including Commerce Cloud; deep technical expertise with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce data architecture; strong experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft); familiarity with Education Data Architecture (EDA) or similar data models; experience with data management tools (e.g., DemandTools); excellent collaboration and communication skills; and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. PREFERRED: One or more years of project management and/or supervisory experience; Salesforce Administrator Certification; or a Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification.
