We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide on-going support to a female client who is 63 with early onset Alzheimers. Client currently resides in a memory care facility in Ambler, PA. You will assist with companionship, helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life. Client is ambulatory and very active in her community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to client
- Engage clients in activities in her community
- Remind clients to take medications as prescribed (non-medical administration)
- Escort clients to appointments and run essential errands
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to the care coordinator
- Document care activities and observations accurately and promptly
- Follow the individualized care plan for client
Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent -Required experience in caregiving, home care, or related field preferred

Valid driver license and reliable transportation Required

Effective communication skills in English

Smartphone with data plan for scheduling and documentation app
Preferred Skills:
- Required with dementia or Alzheimer care
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Certified Home Health Aide certification
- Experience with electronic health records or care documentation apps
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods -Keep a fast with client
Schedule: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 11AM to 6PM
