  • Develop a deep understanding of available data resources, including which data sources to use, how to access them, and when they are most appropriate.

  • Participate in weekly analytics sprints, executing reporting and analysis requests from a prioritized backlog.

  • Work closely with requestors to clarify requirements, confirm understanding, and ensure the requested analyses and reports meet their needs.

  • Generate new metrics, reporting sites, and dashboards to support distribution center performance, including KPIs, cost metrics, and productivity indicators.

  • Execute assigned analytics tasks within each sprint, review outputs with stakeholders, gather feedback, and close requests once validated.

  • Develop scalable models and tools that improve the speed and accuracy of decision making for the supply chain and analytics teams.

  • Define, develop, and maintain critical business and operational reports reviewed on daily, weekly, and monthly cadences.

  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations, including delivering clear written and verbal summaries of findings.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data using advanced SQL, including the ability to write complex queries from scratch (candidates with slightly less experience may be considered with strong SQL skills).

  • Hands-on experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as Redshift, Oracle, or NoSQL systems.

  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, including building dashboards and interactive reports.

  • Experience with data visualization using tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, or similar platforms.

  • Experience with one or more industry-standard analytics and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, or Power BI.
