Full job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role: Crusoe is seeking a Senior Asset Analyst to own asset data integrity, reporting, and disposition across our AI cloud data center hardware fleet. You will keep records for GPU servers, networking, storage, and optics accurate across every system of record, build the reporting that Operations, Finance, and leadership rely on, and take end-to-end ownership of asset disposition as the program matures.

You will work alongside the Asset Manager and partner directly with Procurement, Fleet, Site Operations, Accounting, and Security. This role has real autonomy: you run your own workstream, and you automate the manual work instead of living with it.

This role will be fully onsite in any of our west coast offices: San Francisco, CA, Bellevue, WA, or Sunnyvale, CA.

What You Will Be Working On:

  • Data Integrity and Reconciliation: Audit and reconcile asset records across systems of record, resolve discrepancies, and establish one reliable source of truth.

  • Root Cause and Data Standards: Diagnose data gaps, close them at the source with upstream teams, and define required fields, standards, and validation rules.

  • Reporting and Dashboards: Build and maintain dashboards covering inventory position, deployment status, warranty coverage, and end-of-life exposure. Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting for Operations, Finance, and leadership.

  • Finance and Planning Support: Provide asset data for budget planning and forecasting (spares, warranty renewals, refresh cycles) and support depreciation, audit, and compliance reporting with Accounting and Security.

  • Risk Flagging: Surface aging hardware, coverage gaps, and unaccounted assets before they become problems.

  • Asset Disposition (growing scope): Own disposition from identification through decommissioning handoff, vendor coordination, and closure. Maintain chain of custody and sanitization evidence, reconcile remarketing proceeds and credits, and manage disposal vendors and certificates of destruction.

  • Lifecycle Operations Support: Support assets from receiving through deployment, transfer, and decommissioning. Work with suppliers on shipment data, part numbers, and warranty records.

  • Automation and Process: Automate recurring reconciliation and reporting with SQL, scripting, and AI tools. Write and maintain SOPs in Confluence as workflows evolve, and partner with cross-functional teams to put processes in place, gather feedback and refine them over time.

  • Systems Readiness: Support data validation and cutover when asset tooling and systems change.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • Experience: 5 to 7 years in data center operations, hardware asset management, inventory management, or a data-focused operations role.

  • Data Skills: Advanced Excel required. SQL strongly preferred.

  • Reconciliation: Proven experience reconciling data across multiple systems of record and resolving conflicting sources of truth.

  • Platforms: Hands-on experience with asset management, ITAM, ERP, or DCIM platforms.

  • Reporting: Experience building dashboards in a BI tool such as Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI.

  • Automation and AI: Active use of scripting or AI tools to remove manual work from your own workflow.

  • Ownership: Track record of running a workstream end to end with minimal direction in a fast-moving environment where process evolves alongside the fleet.

  • Communication: Clear communicator across engineering, finance, and operations, with the written skill to turn a process into documentation someone else can follow.

Bonus Points:

  • Hands-on familiarity with data center hardware: servers, GPUs, storage, networking, PDUs, and CDUs.

  • Experience with hardware disposition, remarketing, or e-waste vendor management.

  • Exposure to procurement systems, purchase order workflows, or fixed asset accounting and depreciation.

  • Experience supporting budget planning, forecasting, or capital expenditure processes.

  • Familiarity with hardware lifecycle concepts: EOL, RMA, warranty management, and secure data sanitization.

  • Experience in hyperscale or cloud infrastructure environments.

  • Professional certification such as CHAMP, CSAM, or ITIL.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement

  • Mental health & wellness support

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

  • Cell phone stipend

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance

  • Daily meals allowance

  • Additional perks & programs specific to location

Compensation: Compensation will be paid in the range of $110,000 - $135,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
