Overview
Publicis Digital Experience (PDX) is seeking a Retail Media Strategist to join our team and support our premier CPG client!
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative retail media strategies that drive revenue growth, increase brand awareness, and enhance the customer experience. In close partnership with cross-functional teams, you will work to ensure that our media campaigns are successful across all phases of the delivery cycle from concept to activation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail industry and be able to translate business objectives into effective media plans.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role and will require onsite engagement an average of 3 days/week. Candidates who are commutable to Cincinnati, Dallas, or Springdale AR and available to work in a hybrid capacity will be prioritized.
Responsibilities

Develop and support the execution of comprehensive retail media strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth for clients

Lead and mentor a junior team members

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate media plans across all channels, including paid search, social media, display advertising, and e-commerce

Partner with Shopper Strategy, to inform campaign strategies and recommendations

Maintain relationships with media partners and negotiate media buys to maximize ROI
-
Provide regular reporting to clients on campaigns performance, pacing, and include optimization recommendations

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in retail media activation - growing expertise and refreshing certifications and training courses as able

Help educate and inform agency colleagues on all things digital and provide POVs to clients as well

Act as a thought leader, providing guidance and recommendations to internal teams on retail media activation strategies
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
-
3+ years of professional experience working in retail media strategy including paid search, social media, display advertising, and ecommerce, preferably in an advertising agency environment.

Prior experience leading the development, execution, and evolution of shopper and retail marketing campaigns for CPG brands.

Strong knowledge of retail media and integrated commerce including key retail media networks and third-party commerce media partners.

Understanding of key components of CPG and retailer relationships including Joint Business Planning, Top to Tops, and Channel and Category Strategies.

Experience working HOK in display, social, search platforms, and retail media networks.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate client business challenges into strategic, data-driven retail media plans and optimizations.

A creative problem-solver who is adept at analyzing results, synthesizing data, drawing out insights & implications, and developing insightful and actionable recommendations.

A natural sense of urgency with an ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within tight deadlines and constantly-evolving project parameters, scope, and goals.

Flexible and adaptable with an ability to manage and drive success across multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.

A confident presenter and an outstanding listener with clear and persuasive verbal and written communication skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence.

Comfort operating with a high degree of ownership, autonomy, and accountability.

Highly collaborative but independently capable.

Prior experience mentoring more junior team members preferred.

Compensation Range: USD $66,120.00 - USD $82,650.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
