About the soona Stylist With a passion for aesthetics, the soona stylist has a creative eye and can create any desired look for our clients. Our stylists achieve the client’s vision by collaborating with the photographer and using the set, product and props to achieve the client’s vision. The stylist’s point of view, execution and response to client feedback is critical to the success of the project. soona’s brand promise is to deliver high-quality assets via a quicker pace than standard commercial production – stylists can balance the speed and quality output. They are experienced with a variety of production sets and can style across all industries, primarily food/beverage, cosmetics, apparel, complex products, from ecommerce to editorial.
This is a contract position located in Minneapolis, Austin, or Denver.
Stylists should be available for shoots from 1 hour to 8 hours depending on the needs of the shoot. We often schedule with 1 week or less advance notice. You are required to maintain a google calendar with that reflects your availability
An ideal candidate:

Has experience working with enterprise clients and high-value/volume accounts

Can understand and translate client requests from a shotlist to successful approved asset

Has strength in navigating high-pressure sets which might include conflicting client feedback, tight timelines or complex products

Has worked closely with photographers, hair & makeup artists, models (humans and animals) to produce a desired look

Understands the soona process and brand promise to deliver on both speed and quality

Thrives in a fast-pace, ever-changing startup environment
Has experience in:

A combination of set, wardrobe, prop, food, soft goods styling

2+ years experience with high-touch client management and collaboration
-
4+ years in photo and video production
-
E-commerce photography standards, Amazon-specific experience is a plus
-
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
