The India Country Leader is responsible for advancing nVent’s growth and strategic priorities in India. This role provides country-level leadership across businesses, functions, manufacturing sites, technology centers, shared service centers and Centers of Excellence to accelerate execution, strengthen culture and drive business performance.

The role serves as the senior representative of nVent in India, reports into the President, EMEA & APAC and acts as a key link between local priorities and enterprise strategy, enabling fast decision-making and strong One nVent alignment.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Lead and champion nVent culture, values and leadership expectations across India.

  • Build inclusive and high performing environment where people can succeed and contribute to business growth

  • Oversee execution of nVent’s India strategy, including growth, manufacturing expansion, technology center development , shared service centers and Centers of Excellence.

  • Align business, functional and site leaders to foster teamwork, execution, decision speed and accountability.

  • Partner with regional and global leaders to deliver business objectives and financial commitment and have ownership for India P&L.

  • Build a strong India leadership pipeline through talent development, coaching and succession planning.

  • Represent nVent with customers, strategic partners, industry organizations and government stakeholders.

  • Serve as the voice of India within nVent, ensuring local opportunities and priorities are reflected in broader business decisions.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Significant senior leadership experience in a global, matrixed organization.

  • Proven ability to lead through influence across multiple businesses, functions and sites.

  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen with experience driving growth and organizational performance.

  • Demonstrated success developing leaders, building teams and leading through change.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
