Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled Welders/Fabricators for a growing company in Dyersville, IA.
Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Currently working mandatory overtime until 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities
-
Perform welding and fabrication according to company specifications and blueprints
-
Assemble products and components following work instructions and supervisor direction
-
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
-
Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
-
Join and assemble parts through welding, bolting, and riveting
-
Track jobs using the company's ERP system
-
Communicate any fabrication, material, or quality concerns to supervisors
-
Maintain equipment in safe working condition
-
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
-
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies
-
Assist with inventory counts and other shop-related duties as needed
Qualifications
-
Previous welding and fabrication experience required
-
MIG welding experience strongly preferred
-
Welding or fabrication certification is a plus
-
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-
Good communication, organization, and time management skills
-
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
