About the Role

As an Ads Client Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by owning advanced marketing solutions for our top Mid Market Restaurants. You will collaborate closely with Delivery Account Managers (AMs) to identify, develop, pitch, and implement marketing strategies that maximize value for our restaurant partners. Your expertise in advanced marketing strategies and solutions will enable you to provide expert consultation and act as a subject-matter expert in advanced advertising and promotional campaigns.

What You'll Do

Identify Opportunities:

  • Work with AMs to identify marketing opportunities within their portfolio.

  • Align on Uber's advertising solutions and value proposition to merchants with a One Uber solution mindset.

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to both the sales team and customers on specialized product capabilities

  • Create a comprehensive marketing plan featuring holistic Ads solutions and share it with AMs to consolidate the deal.

Pitch Ads Opportunities:

  • Lead Advanced Marketing pitches, including discovery, handling objections, and budget recommendations.

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on new Ads products, advanced questions, and technical specifications, tailoring value propositions accordingly.

Secure the Deal:

  • Collaborate with AMs to guide merchants through the decision-making process and secure commitments.

  • Manage pipeline records in Salesforce Media Cloud, ensuring accurate tracking of deals, contracts, and opportunity closures.

Implement the Campaign:

  • Oversee the setup of campaigns, ensuring alignment with merchant capabilities and go-live dates.

  • Manage agreement processes via Salesforce Media Cloud, securing merchant commitment.

  • Coordinate with Ads Rev Ops to ensure proper campaign execution and operational efficiency.

Post-Campaign Management:

  • Monitor campaign performance and budget allocation.

  • Support AMs in reporting campaign outcomes and fulfilling custom data requests from Ads Ops.

  • Lead Advanced Reporting conversations including how Ads & Offers work together and Incrementality reporting.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work with business and product development teams to provide feedback on niche product features and improvements based on customer needs (VOC)

  • Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration of specialized products (Revenue Operations, APS, Tech Operations, etc)

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-time experience

  • Experience working in a sales or account management client facing role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in advertising/media sales

  • Ability to build relationships with multiple internal and external partners

  • Experience in end-to-end SMB and/or Mid-Market Digital Advertising Sales

  • Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to build and implement strategic sales plans that result in success for our partners and Uber

  • Excellent negotiation, problem solving skills and cross-functional relationship skills

  • Creative storyteller with the ability to use data to quantify opportunities and influence decision makers

  • Strong leadership ability

  • Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity

This is a hybrid role. Our team collaborates in-person out of our offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Employees may work from our office on additional days if they desire to do so.

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The total on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is USD $116,667 - USD $129,167. The OTE includes a base salary range of USD $70,000 per year - USD $77,500 per year and an annualized cash variable incentive target of USD $46,667 - USD $51,667.

The cash variable incentive target is based on individual sales performance and its payment is based on the terms of the Sales Incentive Plan.

An equity award and other forms of compensation may be included in the offer. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
