Operations Specialist

Description

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to support customer account administration, pricing maintenance, and commercial data accuracy for an organization in Somerset, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-focused environment and can manage complex account and pricing activities across CRM and related business systems. The role partners closely with sales and internal operations teams to keep customer records current, resolve data issues, and help ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing account support.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update customer account records in Salesforce and connected systems to preserve accurate, consistent master data.

• Review pricing requests, validate contract terms, and apply approved updates to customer accounts with a high degree of accuracy.

• Support lead conversion, new account creation, and onboarding activities to enable timely setup for customers and partners.

• Analyze account activity and data quality reports to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and complete corrective actions.

• Examine customer records for adherence to distribution policies and escalate findings when exceptions or compliance concerns arise.

• Address operational issues related to unauthorized online resellers by researching account activity and coordinating follow-up actions.

• Process transactional adjustments such as credits, rebills, reimbursement program updates, and employee purchase requests.

• Collaborate with Sales, Strategic Accounts, Pricing, Logistics, and external partners to resolve account and pricing questions efficiently.

• Conduct outreach to customers when verification is needed to confirm account details and maintain reliable business information.

Requirements • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, customer operations, pricing support, account maintenance, or a similar business operations role.

• Hands-on experience working with Salesforce or another CRM platform to manage customer records and account updates.

• Strong background in data entry, database management, and maintaining high levels of data accuracy across systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reviewing, and analyzing operational data.

• Ability to interpret pricing information, contract details, and account documentation with close attention to detail.

• Effective customer service and cross-functional communication skills for working with internal teams and external contacts.
