What You’ll Be Doing

  • Administer project controls systems and processes and support monitoring of budget performance, commitments, and actual expenditures.

  • Analyze cost and schedule variances and maintain a performance measurement baseline approved by client.

  • Work with project controls and financial teams to support accurate forecasting, assess the fiscal impact of changes, and recommend cost and performance optimization actions.

  • Prepare standardized project controls reports that may include earned value analysis, cost-at-completion forecasting, schedule performance metrics, productivity indicators, variance explanations, KPI dashboards, and trend analysis.

  • Present project controls reports and supporting detail to project leadership as requested.

  • Maintain contingency drawdown logs, performance trend logs, and forecast variance registers.

  • Prepare contingency adequacy assessments that evaluate remaining contingency against risks, projected cost exposure, earned value trends, schedule trends, and KPI performance.

  • Recommend adjustments to contingency, forecasts, or performance management actions based on changing project conditions.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, finance, business, or related field, or equivalent and 10+ years of related work experience.

  • Experience in project controls on large capital construction programs.

  • Strong knowledge of cost reporting, forecasting, earned value, KPI tracking, and variance analysis.

  • Ability to develop executive-level dashboards and detailed supporting analysis.

  • Strong Excel and project controls systems experience.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring
