Overview

To qualify for US internships, you must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship/co-op ends. If you do not meet this requirement, we invite you to explore other opportunities available on our careers website.

Intuit internships are 12 weeks throughout the summer. We have fixed start and end dates that are designed to work with various universities’ academic calendars.

  • Cohort 1: Monday, May 17 - Friday, August 6, 2027 (12 weeks)

  • Cohort 2: Monday, June 14 - Friday September 3, 2027 (12 weeks)

About the Team:

Intuit’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational transformation. At the Financial Integrity, Transformation & Governance Data team, we are redesigning how Finance operates — with clear ownership, integrated roadmaps, embedded AI, and disciplined value realization at scale. Our interns have opportunities to apply their knowledge into real-world problems such as process optimization, performance, ROI, and multiple other areas.

The primary objective of our summer internship program is to bring highly talented people into the organization and provide them an opportunity to work on interesting challenges. Summer internships are a direct pipeline to full time positions in strategic positions with frequent exposure to company leaders, core businesses, and technologies – where you can quickly make meaningful contributions.

While each summer internship is unique, all roles offer the experience of a project which challenges you to apply your knowledge and expertise to real business problems. As this role involves deep technical understanding and constant interaction with senior finance stakeholders across the business, you need the confidence and emotional intelligence to effectively communicate at all levels. The ideal candidate has worked in the high-tech industry and enjoys operating in an extremely fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Your key responsibilities will include,

  • Perform end-to-end analytics using advanced SQL and AI to extract business insights that drive tangible value for our customers and result in business growth.

  • Leverage data visualization and dashboarding tools such as QlikSense and Tableau to help uncover key business insights and improve team automation and self-service analytics.

  • Develop proofs-of-concept for innovative, AI-driven features or solutions.

  • Work closely with diverse teams, clearly communicating your findings and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Create clear documentation for your research, model architectures, code, and experimental results.

You will be part of the Analytics team that rolls up to the Director of Data, Analytics, Automation and AI at Intuit.

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or related quantitative field; Students pursuing Master’s Degree preferred.

  • Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity about how AI can be applied to solve real-world problems

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for the duration of the internship

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an Intuit office location determined by your team and role (Relocation stipend will be provided)

  • 2+ years relevant experience with a proven track record of leveraging analytics to drive significant business impact.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, “big data” technologies (e.g., Redshift, Spark, Hive, BigQuery), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikSense). Qlik certification is a big plus

  • Passion for uncovering strategic opportunities and and a strong business acumen and the ability to translate business strategy into testable hypotheses and insights

  • High-level understanding of advanced statistical modeling and ML methodologies such as causal inference techniques with a strategic understanding of their application

  • Strong programming skills in Python or R; experience building ML and GenAI models, including automation and custom implementations.

  • Strong data storytelling skills, with a proven ability to rapidly construct impactful visualization, communicate insights and influence leadership

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trust and collaborate seamlessly across technical, business, and cross-functional teams.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have flexibility to shift priorities when needed

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Mountain View $37 - $57
