Overview

The Role and What You’ll Do:

160over90 is a global marketing agency that represents brands by connecting them to the places, people and moments that matter most. We’re seeking experienced, account management professionals who know how to lead books of business and teams. You work closely with clients to steward their advertising and branding challenges and help them achieve their business goals. You understand the difference between executing marketing campaigns and building brands and want to work at a place that excels at both. You have developed the nuances of expert client service, and you’re comfortable swimming in any lane—digital, video, strategy, identity, anything.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Account Directors bring value to our clients by analyzing, solving and selling-through viable, integrated solutions to client problems. They draw on the expertise of 160over90’s extensive capabilities and our vast resources and influence. They are valued advisors and partners to CMOs, marketing VPs, and brand managers on the client side, as well as agency leaders at similar levels. They are also strong leaders of teams who inspire others to act courageously and work whole-heartedly.

  • Understand team financial targets and manage team to meet them

  • Ensure that client work plans align with contracted burn rates and meet business goals

  • Ensure internal process adherence (project, purchasing, communication, legal, etc.)

  • Manage client expectations and show value for agency performance in order to renew clients at level greater than or equal to current contract

  • Identify and secure sales engineering opportunities

  • Identify and secure opportunities to enhance Agency offerings through expanded services across the Agency

  • Take active role in new business efforts as required

  • Drive regular cadence of client planning within current contract and for upcoming renewals

  • Stay current on client & industry trends

Who You Are

Qualifications

You Have These:

  • 8-10+ years of relevant industry/agency experience. Creative agency experience strongly desired.

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and collaborate in a team-oriented multi-agency workplace, fostering career growth for the individuals on your team.

  • Outstanding ability to lead, convince and inspire in a client-service environment.

  • Strategic thinker

  • Highly organized with a healthy respect for best-in-class process

  • Strong relationship-building capabilities

  • Experience working in omnichannel campaigns

  • Experience developing business within a client relationship

  • Proven track record of increasing client spend, identifying new business opportunities and networking

Compensation Range: USD $97,375.00 - USD $139,965.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
