We are seeking to hire a Configuration Analyst for our Arlington, Texas site.

What you will be doing:

  • Analyze proposed product and engineering changes to determine their impact on product and system performance.

  • Prepare, coordinate, and maintain engineering change orders, modification records, and supporting documentation.

  • Coordinate change authorization and implementation activities with engineering, quality, manufacturing, support, subcontractors, and other functional organizations.

  • Review released engineering change data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper implementation.

  • Ensure customer requirements are incorporated into approved product and engineering changes.

  • Monitor change accounting activities to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and procedures.

  • Prepare reports documenting the impact and status of engineering changes.

The candidate will actively participate in every aspect of Data Management (DM) for the program, delivering essential services and coordinating a broad range of activities. Primary responsibilities include scheduling, tracking, and submitting Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) in accordance with contractual obligations, as well as entering, updating, and maintaining data within the program’s integrated digital environment and database. The individual prepares concise program briefings, presents them at staff meetings, and works closely with functional groups and other departments to ensure that data submissions are timely and meet all contractual requirements. Additional duties involve developing and delivering contractual data reports and performance metrics, serving as the primary liaison with customers and subcontractors on submittal and approval processes, and managing Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs) alongside reviewing subcontractor Statements of Requirements (SOR). The role also requires preparing data for review and retention, maintaining both electronic and hard copy archives, and managing retrieval procedures as needed; reviewing contracts and Statements of Work (SOW) to identify data related obligations; administering database permissions for program personnel; and supporting audits and troubleshooting the DM databases. The candidate establishes and implements robust data control procedures to guarantee the availability and timely delivery or access to program and contract data throughout the program’s life cycle. In this capacity, the candidate provides direction, where appropriate on data scheduling, document numbering, inspection, delivery, and follow up to satisfy required customer dispositions, thereby ensuring consistent, compliant, and reliable data management across the entire effort.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience (mid‑level).

  • Current Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

  • Familiarity with Configuration Management practices

  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and documentation.

  • Proficient in, and comprehensive knowledge of, the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

  • Solid technical background.

  • Ability to manage subcontractors within the applicable field of expertise.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.

  • Capable of working well in a team environment and collaborating with all levels of management.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated basic understanding of contracts and subcontracts.

  • Proficient with configuration‑ and document‑management systems.

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • Skilled in using data‑management tools and methods to track deliverables to/from customers and subcontractors.

  • Experienced in DoD and commercial configuration‑management practices; knowledgeable of EIA‑649A (National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management) and GEIA‑859 (Data Management); and adept at implementing a Configuration Management program per MIL‑HDBK‑61(A).

  • Familiar with hardware and software configuration‑management and version‑control tools and methodologies.

  • Comprehensive understanding of and hands‑on experience with DoD government contracts.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
