Description:
Training Specialist: The hands-on role behind every training we deliver
180 Degrees believes great training builds great teams, and great teams change lives. As our Training Specialist, you bring our training plan to life by developing engaging, effective trainings in partnership with subject matter experts, so every employee stays equipped to do trauma-responsive work that matters. From new hire orientation to ongoing compliance, you make sure learning is always aligned with what our mission requires.
You build eTraining courses, record and edit engaging webinars, develop engaging PowerPoint presentations, and apply adult learning theory to create training with measurable, lasting impact. Working closely with subject matter experts, you turn policies, procedures, and statutes into dynamic eTrainings. You keep it all running on schedule with a well-maintained annual training calendar.
What you'll actually do:

You know how to make training both compliant and effective. You're organized and detail-oriented, comfortable managing a training calendar, producing a polished webinar, and presenting at orientation — all in the same week. You believe checking the compliance box and building real understanding go hand in hand. And you want your work to directly strengthen the team doing life-changing work every day.
This is a full-time, onsite position (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week). No direct reports, rather direct impact on how our team learns.
