Responsibilities Northside Hospital, a nationally recognized leader in patient care and innovation, is actively seeking a board-certified/board-eligible, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea, Complex Cataract, and Anterior Segment Surgery to join our dynamic ophthalmology team in Atlanta, GA.  This is an exceptional opportunity for a high-performing surgeon to practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment with dedicated outpatient ophthalmology operating room (OR) space and access to state-of-the-art technology.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-volume cornea, cataract and anterior segment surgeries with a focus on excellent surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

  • Evaluate and manage a wide spectrum of cornea, cataract and anterior segment conditions.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and surgical support staff.

  • Utilize dedicated ophthalmology OR space equipped with the latest surgical technologies.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology.

  • Required Fellowship  in Cornea

  • Complex Cataract Surgery and Anterior Segment Surgery Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years post-residency experience preferred, but not required.

  • Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain).
