Title: Maintenance/Facilities Engineer

Position Summary:

As the Facilities/Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical and network systems and equipment to support facility operations. This role oversees installation, maintenance, and project execution, ensuring compliance with codes and standards while driving continuous improvement in plant efficiency and reliability. The engineer collaborates with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Accountabilities:

Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical & network systems, equipment, and components for facility operations.

Direct and coordinate installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and requirements.

Oversee project execution to ensure timely, on-budget, and satisfactory completion; support capital projects and commissioning as needed.

Establish preventative maintenance programs, troubleshoot and resolve facility and equipment issues; collaborate with site personnel, vendors, and service providers.

Lead initiatives to improve plant electrical efficiency and reliability, applying lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience with industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing/commercial facility; or 9 years of relevant experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities project management, including vendor management.

Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems in a manufacturing or commercial environment.

Experience applying NEC, NFPA, and other applicable electrical codes and standards.

Experience with low-, medium-, and high-voltage power distribution, grounding, lighting, and raceway layout.

Preferred Qualifications:

Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD and engineering modeling tools

Previous power industry experience

Knowledge of Rolls-Royce Solutions America products, policies and procedures

Familiarity with budgeting, capital project planning, or cost estimation for facility upgrades and repairs.
