Inpatient Hematologist/Oncologist Hospitalist

TheDivision of Cancer Medicineis actively recruiting a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our inpatient team as an Onco-Hospitalist at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix.This candidate will join a national leader in multidisciplinary cancer care, education, and discovery at a thriving academic based campus.

As part of the cancer centers multidisciplinary team, the selected oncologist will enjoy a 7 on / 7 off schedule and a team that includes fully staffed APP support.Physician will be present at the hospital during business hours, rounding with patients and responding to consults as required.Physician would be available nights for calls coming in from the hospital/team but consult requests coming in overnight are addressed early the next day.Outpatient responsibilities are not required.

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology, Medical Oncology, or Hematology

  • Hematology/Oncology practice with an interest in inpatient service and an opportunity to subspecialize
