Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints.

  • Assist supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.

  • Build columns and forms

  • Assess the quality of woodwork and materials.

  • Operate tools, machines, and other equipment.

  • Follow compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.

  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

  • Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware

Qualifications

  • Upper-intermediate communication skills in English, both written and oral

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma

  • Experience in formwork carpentery

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
