Full job description

TLDR: Poised is looking for a Research Scientist to innovate and advance the science of communication, that includes NLP, Speech and Computer Vision to build a product that helps people perform better in their important meetings.

👋 About Poised Poised is an early-stage startup on a mission to improve spoken communication in our remote working world. We are building an AI-powered communication coach and platform that can provide real-time and post meeting feedback. In the process we hope to democratize the language for career mobility, improve diversity and inclusion, and bring more understanding and compassion to professionals.

The founding team has launched top 5 grossing iOS and Android applications and built large bottoms-up SaaS businesses. We are venture backed and our perks include free food, full benefits, and a flexible remote working environment.

⭐ About you We are looking for a Research Scientist with the ability to independently develop and drive original research programs.

Work Experience

  • PhD in Machine Learning, NLP, Speech, or equivalent experience.
  • A strong record of peer reviewed publication
  • History of extracting value from large disconnected datasets that can be added to the product.
  • Experience with signal processing is preferred but not required. What You Will Do
