Pay: $21.06

Schedule: M-F 8 am- 4 pm

The Edinburg Center is always looking for talented people to join our team. Our Career Services Coordinators enjoy a competitive salary and an amazing benefits package including 3 weeks of vacation, 12 paid holidays, 12 paid sick days, and 3 personal days. Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field required

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with adults living with mental health challenges

  • Experience in a Fountain House Model Certified Clubhouse with Transitional Employment and Supported Education programs preferred

  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license required

  • Strong communication, organizational, networking, and relationship-building skills

  • Commitment to recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and person-centered care

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate and oversee all Career Services within Potter Place Clubhouse, including Transitional Employment (TE), Supported Employment (SE), and Independent Employment (IE) initiatives

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local employers to expand employment opportunities for members

  • Support members in identifying, pursuing, and achieving their employment and educational goals

  • Provide oversight, training, and support to Transitional Employment placement managers

  • Maintain employment databases and track career services outcomes

  • Coordinate monthly Career Dinners, weekly employment workshops, and annual employer recognition events

  • Collaborate with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), Department of Mental Health (DMH), Employment Specialists, and other community partners

  • Develop new employer relationships through networking, outreach, and community engagement

  • Participate in Saturday Social and holiday coverage on a rotating basis with other Clubhouse coordinators

  • Work closely with the Clubhouse leadership team to develop innovative career services and employment initiatives

  • Complete required documentation, reports, and administrative responsibilities in accordance with program standards

Career Services plays a vital role in helping members develop skills, connect with employers, and achieve competitive employment within the community.
