Lead Grounds Maintenance Engineer

Do you enjoy working outdoors, leading a team, and creating beautiful, well-maintained spaces? Are you someone who takes pride in keeping grounds safe, clean, and inviting year-round? If so, we'd love to have you join our team as a Lead Grounds Maintenance Engineer!
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee daily grounds maintenance operations while working alongside your team to keep our property looking its best.
What You'll Do

Lead and supervise the Grounds Maintenance team while promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Maintain all outdoor areas through mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, mulching, pruning, raking, and general landscape care.

Keep sidewalks, walkways, and public areas clean, safe, and free of debris.

Perform snow removal and apply ice melt during winter weather conditions.

Coordinate and assist with setup and teardown for special events throughout the property.

Operate company vehicles and a variety of landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.

Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on assigned equipment.

Train, coach, and support Grounds Maintenance team members while ensuring quality work standards.

Promote a culture of outstanding guest service for both internal and external guests.

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and all company safety policies.

Participate in departmental meetings and communicate important information with the team.

Maintain reliable attendance and assist with additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or GED required.

One year of grounds maintenance or landscaping experience preferred.

Previous lead, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred.

Valid driver's license required.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience operating landscaping equipment and performing preventative maintenance.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality work.

Commitment to workplace safety and exceptional guest service.

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
