Supported Employment
We help people with disabilities develop work skills and connect with employers. We also provide job coaching and ongoing support.

AIM provides supported employment services to people with disabilities under contract with Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) and the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

Our employment specialists help people with disabilities develop work skills and connect with local employers. They also provide job training and ongoing support.

AIM provides community-based work assessments, benefits advisement, self-advocacy training, and job skills training such as resume building and practice interviews.

A two-week work readiness program covers work-related daily living skills, appropriate workplace conduct, employer expectations, effective communication, goal setting, and more.

We build relationships with area employers who hire people with disabilities and arrange work-based learning for students, work experiences, and job placements.

Our employment specialists provide on-site job coaching and ongoing support to maintain employment.
