Full job description

We celebrate diversity, inclusion and equity, and welcome applicants representative of our diverse and multicultural community for the following teaching vacancies:

Preferred Substitute Physical Education Teachers, district-wide, 2026-2027 school year

Preferred Substitutes report daily to assigned schools (school holidays and breaks excluded)

Applicants must have a valid New York State Physical Education Teaching Certificate, demonstrate sound professional judgment and reliability, and be able to work effectively with students of diverse learning needs.

Rate: $155/day for the 1st 50 days; $165/day for 51-150 days; $190/day for 151+ days
