\n The Lead Electrical Engineer</span>\x26nbsp;will have the opportunity to collaborate with all design staff and oversee full cycle electrical design activities.\x26nbsp; This person will work as part of the Engineering Team and interact closely with the Project Management Team to produce construction documents, develop and edit project specifications and lead the construction administration process.\n

\n The Lead Electrical Engineer\x26nbsp;will be self-directed on day-to-day work and receive high level instruction on new projects or assignments.\x26nbsp; Will execute and lead design teams and design projects of complex scope.\x26nbsp; May coordinate activities of other personnel.\n

\n Essential Functions</b>\n

\n Lead Electrical Engineering Design Activities (50%)</b>\n

\n </div> \n

\n

• Independently perform intermediate to advanced engineering work \n

• Perform intermediate to advanced electrical design tasks including development of electrical distribution systems and topologies, infrastructure and equipment layouts and selection / sizing of equipment \n

</span></li>\n

• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to prepare drawings and visual aids \n

</span></li>\n

• Review and / or prepare book or sheet specifications for electrical systems \n

</span></li>\n

• Develop and / or review sequences of operations \n

</span></li>\n

• Assist in proposal development including project scope, schedule and budget \n

</span></li>\n

• Timely and effective management of project design team including resource forecasting and coordination \n

</span></li>\n

• Identify potential project scope changes and aid in development of strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines \n

</span></li>\n

• Support contact for design clients and builds effective, long-term client relationships \n

</span></li>\n

• May direct interns / other engineering and technical staff \n

\n Lead Pre-Construction Activities (15%)</b>\n

• Survey existing building conditions and prepares technical reports of findings \n

• Collect data and other information for construction documents \n

• Knowledge of electrical systems found in buildings including single/three phase power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, grounding and life safety systems \n

• Knowledge of codes and specifications for the design of electrical systems including National Electric Code, Life Safety and Energy Conservation Codes \n

</span></li>\n

• Knowledge of technical / design software including short circuit coordination and arc flash studies, equipment sizing, underground feeder calculations and lighting calculations \n

</span></li>\n

• Knowledge of various electrical topologies and distribution systems \n

</span></li>\n

• Skilled at producing drawings and visual aids using AutoCAD and Revit \n

</span></li>\n

• Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management \n

</span></li>\n

• Skilled in performing code analysis including selection of equipment, wiring, etc. to meet code requirements \n

</span></li>\n

• Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail</span>\n

• Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company-wide innovation.\n
