Job Purpose or Objective(s): The National Sales Manager focuses on building long-term, relationships with customers; maximize hotel/conference usage and produce revenue from corporate and social events to meet sales goals. You will report to the Director of Sales.
Primary Tasks:

You will book group business to include guest rooms, conference space, and other casino amenities in assigned territory.

Evaluate market/economic trends and introduce appropriate changes in strategy to exceed personal sales goals.

You will identify and solicit new business for property through networking with local business and community agencies.

Participate in tradeshows within the hotel and trade related organizations and showcase the property to prospective clients.

You will conduct sales calls, build rapport and maintain existing business relationships to acquire new business.

Maintain accounts, contacts, activity, and business details within the appropriate software applications.

You will negotiate pricing for efficient cost controls.

Collaborate with conference services and the front office to ensure all details of the contract are delivered.

You will present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and plans of current and projected sales to Director of Sales, to ensure the achievement of the sales objectives.

Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum

Bachelor’s degree or four years directly related experience.

Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Working Knowledge of Delphi CRM system.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services

Ability to assess customer needs assessment and meet quality standards for services and customer satisfaction.

Two years’ prior experience in hotel, Sales, or Conference Services.
