As an On‑Call Team Lead, you step in when coverage is needed, ensuring continuity of care, safety, and strong leadership for staff and residents. You’ll guide front‑line team members, respond to complex situations, and keep operations running smoothly in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.

This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, confident in leadership, and ready to step in and support teams when it matters most.

This is an on‑call position with coverage needs across all shifts, which may include:

  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  • 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

  • 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

What You’ll Do

  • Provide shift leadership and work direction to Resident Advocates during assigned coverage

  • Ensure a safe, secure, and respectful environment for residents and staff

  • Respond to urgent or complex participant situations using trauma‑informed and de‑escalation approaches

  • Support daily operations and maintain continuity of services during staff absences

  • Reinforce program expectations, policies, and best practices in real-time

  • Collaborate with leadership to communicate shift updates, concerns, and operational needs

  • Support staff in delivering person‑centered, harm reduction, and recovery‑oriented services

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as needed during shifts

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and respect

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 3 years of experience providing direct services in behavioral health, housing, or a related field

  • At least 1 year of experience providing work direction, leadership, or supervision (formal or informal)

  • Strong ability to lead in fast‑paced, unpredictable environments

  • Experience supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, or substance use

  • Knowledge of trauma‑informed care, harm reduction, and de‑escalation practices

  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

  • Ability to step into different teams and shifts with flexibility and professionalism

  • Comfort working a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays

  • Commitment to culturally responsive, person‑centered work
