Position Overview:

Assures the implementation of the established health care plan(s) for a specified number of clients as delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse (RN).

Implementation is limited to the care of clients whose health status would be expected to change only over a period of days and weeks, rather than minutes and hours.

Administers medication according to the Brantwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center policies and procedures.

Effectively monitor the care of the patient and conduct audits to assure adequate care is administered by the CNAs.

Position accountable for delivery of patient care under the direction of an RN.

Maintains professional knowledge and skills related to areas of practice; completes required educational classes, in-service and position updates.
Position Highlights:

Shift Differentials: $2.50–$5.00 per hour

Sign On Bonus Eligible: $10,000 (Full-Time only)

Qualifications:

Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.

Licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Knowledgeable of the standards of the Department of Financial Services (DFS) and Federal Medicare and Medicaid regulations for long term care.

Must be able to work under the direction of an RN and follow written or verbal instructions effectively.
