Full job description
Valley County Health System is currently seeking a qualified candidate to work a Paramedicine / Nursing shift in Acute Care! This position is full-time working 36 hours per week on the night shift. Qualified candidates must have 5 years of Paramedic experience.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities of the position include: - Performing patient care in an efficient and effective manner - Collaborating with Medical Staff, management, and other healthcare providers to coordinate medical management of patient care - Performing emergency and inpatient treatment as needed - Demonstrating efficient time management and accurate documentation - Promoting and ensuring patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS: • Graduate of accredited school of Paramedicine • Currently licensed in the State of Nebraska • BLS, ACLS, and PALS. TNCC certification required and can also be provided on-site • Ability to multitask • Well organized and detail oriented • Experience with documenting in an EMR is preferred but not required
