Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Health Technicians to support the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (North Las Vegas VAMC) located at 6900 N Pecos Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. Multiple shift schedules are available. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities

Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, medical bed, and other devices.

Assist with patient positioning and imaging procedures.

Respond to emergencies and perform CPR when indicated.

Serve as patient observer when needed.
-
Transport specimens and support patient care activities.
-
Maintain imaging department safety, cleanliness, and supplies.
-
Perform clerical duties, scheduling support, record management, and phone reception.

Enter patient data into computerized systems and support PACS workflows.

Support patients and families with guidance and assistance.
Overview

CPR/BLS capability.
-
Safe Patient Handling experience.

Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility.

Experience with clerical support and patient record systems.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to retrieve and document information in the Veteran electronic medical record.

All candidates must be able to:

Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

Lift up to 20 lbs

Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
