Olive Jobs vs Jobscan (2026): Pricing and Match Scores

Jobscan tells you what a posting's keywords want. Olive Jobs starts from the jobs and rewrites the résumé with you.

By Olive Jobs, which makes one of the tools here · Last checked November 3, 2026

Pick Jobscan if you want a detailed keyword report and a single match rate to work against, and if your LinkedIn profile needs the same treatment. Pick Olive Jobs if you'd rather start from the jobs, have your résumé rewritten with each new bullet shown before and after, and get a read on your fit and a spoken practice interview without a percentage to chase.

Both can touch your résumé, your applications and your interviews, so the real difference is the question each one answers first. Jobscan asks how well this résumé matches this description. Olive asks whether this job is worth your time and what would make your case stronger. Jobscan's prices and match-rate guidance below are as of November 2026.

What a number can and can't tell you

Jobscan is open about how its match rate works. Its home page says it weighs hard skills first, then education when the posting asks for an advanced degree, then job title, soft skills and other keywords. It says word count and measurable results aren't part of the rate. It recommends 75 percent, says many users do well at 65, and warns that pushing past 75 can mean keyword stuffing. That's a useful, honest tool for one question: does this document use the language of this posting?

The rate doesn't set out to tell you whether you should apply. As Jobscan describes it, the rate weighs what your résumé says against what the posting asks for, so two people with the same history could score differently depending on how they wrote it. Olive's fit evaluation gives a tier and names the requirements you're missing, on purpose, with no percentage. Olive's résumé review does show a score from 0 to 100, labeled as our own measure and not an ATS verdict, because we can't see inside any employer's system and won't imply we can.

If a number keeps you moving, Jobscan's is better documented than ours. Our guide to résumé keywords and ATS explains what's worth doing about keywords in either tool.

Quick answers

Is Olive Jobs a Jobscan alternative?

If what you want is a tailored résumé, yes. If what you want is a keyword-by-keyword report and a match rate to work against, or help with your LinkedIn profile, Jobscan does that and Olive Jobs doesn't.

What match rate should I aim for on Jobscan?

Jobscan recommends 75 percent and says many users do well at 65 percent. It also warns that pushing higher can mean keyword stuffing.

Does Olive Jobs give an ATS score?

Not as such. The résumé review shows a score from 0 to 100 that Olive labels as its own measure, not an ATS verdict, and the fit evaluation gives a tier with no percentage.

Does Jobscan include interview practice?

Jobscan's feature page calls AI Interview Practice an optional add-on that isn't part of a standard subscription, and it doesn't list the add-on's price. Olive Jobs includes practice interviews on a free account, with limits.
