Full job description

Job Descriptions:

Uses special imaging equipment to perform diagnostic tests and examinations to help determine a patients diagnosis and treatment options.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Provides radiological services by exemplifying the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform a variety of radiographic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for radiographic

  • Assists physicians and radiologists in the performance of examinations.

  • Maintains responsibility for the accurate assessment of the patient by determining their ability to comply with the physical requirements of the examination to minimize patient or examination problems.

  • Performs ultrasound procedures according to protocols and patient specific needs.

  • Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.

Hours: PRN, As needed

Required Experience:

Education, Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.

  • Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:

  • Licensed by the state of Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer.

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registry eligible.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS).

  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
