Organization: SGMF-Sutter Gould Med Foundation Position Overview: Assists in the overall function and support of document imaging services. Performs technical analysis, design, support, implementation, and project management for technology-related activities with moderate supervision. Provides customer support for technology, leveraging the information systems (IS) platform to track and perform necessary trend analysis of issues. Supports applications, network, systems, storage, and escalates issues as needed. May inspect and perform quality assurance reviews on documents in work queues. Provides guidance to end users on appropriate document types, scanning methods, and equipment maintenance. Job Description: EDUCATION:

  • HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education (GED)

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:​

  • 2 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, patients and families both verbally and in writing.
  • Advanced computer skills with PACS, RIS and/or other Imaging related software.
  • Requires critical thinking skill, decisive judgment and the ability to work under supervision or with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations.

Pay Range is $27.56 to $38.58 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
