Salary Range $38.81 - $59.18 Hourly

Position Type Casual (Less than 32 hrs every 2 weeks)

Category Nursing - Hospital

Description

The purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to patients. The framework for practice will be the nursing process in order to prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care. The RN has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, hospital employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The RN must be able to supervise patient care, secure cooperation from others, problem-solve, and exercise initiative and judgement.

Hours/Shifts

Casual (less than 32 hours biweekly)

Compensation

Hourly Wage Range: $38.81-$59.18/hour, with an additional $1/hour for BSN hires. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.

  • Education/Special Skills: Graduate of a school of nursing with current licensure in Minnesota.

  • Completion of Basic Cardiology class.

  • Minimum of one year medical/surgical experience.

  • ACLS Certification preferred or willingness to obtain ACLS certification within one year.

  • PALS Certification preferred or willingness to obtain PALS certification within one year.

  • TNCC Certification preferred or to be obtained within one year from hire date.

  • This position requires current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.

  • Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.

  • Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
