Job Description

About the Role:

The Director of New Construction Design Services will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural vision and execution of new construction projects. This position is responsible for leading a team of design professionals to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. The director will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to translate project requirements into innovative design solutions. Additionally, this role involves overseeing the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to. Ultimately, the director will contribute to the growth and reputation of the organization by delivering exceptional design services that exceed client expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.

Experience with sustainable design practices and green building certifications.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the design team in the development of new construction projects.

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each project.

Oversee the design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Coordinate with other departments, including engineering and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.

Review and approve design documents, ensuring they align with project goals and client expectations.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
