Are you a talented hairstylist who loves making people feel confident, polished, and their absolute best? Do you thrive on creativity, connection, and delivering an elevated guest experience?

We’re looking for a passionate Hairstylist to join our spa team in an exciting casino resort environment. From a flawless blowout before a night out to a stunning updo for a special occasion, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your creativity to every appointment and help guests look and feel their best.

What You’ll Do

As a Hairstylist, you’ll create personalized looks while delivering the exceptional service our guests expect. Your day may include:

• Consult with guests to understand their style, preferences, and desired look

• Recommend cuts, colors, and styles that complement each guest’s features and personality

• Perform cuts, trims, shaves, blowouts, set & styles, and updos

• Create beautiful color services, including highlights, ombré, balayage, and more

• Shampoo, condition, and prepare hair using products appropriate for each guest’s needs

• Provide hair treatments such as hydrating masks and color-protection treatments

• Stay current with beauty trends, techniques, products, and styles

• Build relationships with returning guests and remember their preferences

• Recommend professional hair care products and additional services when appropriate

• Manage appointments and walk-ins while providing timely, polished service

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming station and properly sanitize tools

• Promote spa services, treatments, retail products, promotions, and special programs

• Jump in and support the spa team wherever needed

• Work independently while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism

The Experience We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about hair, beauty, and creating memorable guest experiences

• Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people

• Creative, detail-oriented, and confident in their technical skills

• Comfortable working with both short and long hair

• Experienced with a variety of cutting, styling, and coloring techniques

• A strong communicator and listener

• Organized and able to manage multiple appointments and priorities

• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

• Flexible and willing to support the needs of a dynamic spa environment

• Comfortable recommending products and services without being pushy

Qualifications

• Current New York State Cosmetology/Hairstylist License required

• Strong customer service experience

• Previous salon or spa experience preferred

• Knowledge of current hair and beauty trends

• Basic computer skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
