Job Description:

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives to improve organizational effectiveness, workforce performance, employee engagement, and leadership capability. The HRBP partners with executives and operational leaders to provide consultation on workforce planning, talent management, organizational design, succession planning, change management, and leadership development.

Working collaboratively with Centers of Excellence, including Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Organizational/Learning and Development, the HRBP develops and implements integrated people solutions that support organizational priorities. The HRBP acts as a trusted consultant to leaders, helping drive business results through effective workforce strategies, while leveraging subject matter experts to address specialized employee and labor relations matters.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required

  • Equivalent Experience Considered

Experience:

  • 10 years of Human Resources experience, including Program Development, Management Advice and Counsel, Strategy Execution, and Employee Relations - Required

Skills:

  • Advanced business acumen with the ability to align workforce strategies to operational and organizational objectives.

  • Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, and change management.

  • Strong consulting, influencing, and relationship management skills with the ability to build credibility and trust at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to analyze workforce data, trends, and metrics to identify opportunities and develop actionable business solutions.

  • Strong facilitation and executive coaching skills with experience supporting leader effectiveness and team performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence complex organizational initiatives and business transformation efforts.

  • Working knowledge of employee relations, labor relations, compensation, organizational development, talent acquisition, and applicable federal and state employment laws.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, lead through change, and drive organizational adoption of new processes and initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across HR Centers of Excellence and operational leadership teams.

  • Strong financial literacy, including understanding labor costs, productivity metrics, workforce modeling, and budget implications.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in complex and sensitive situations.

  • Demonstrated self-direction, accountability, and initiative.

Work Shift:

Exempt Days (Mon-Fri) (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$67.40 - $101.08

Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
