Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Structural Heart Cardiology

Denver, Colorado

When you join Intermountain Health, you’ll become part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible.

About this role

As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner supporting our Structural Heart program, you’ll work collaboratively with Interventional Cardiologists, CT Surgeons, and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver exceptional care to patients throughout their structural heart journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cardiology APP who enjoys a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and is interested in structural heart care without a traditional surgical or call schedule.

  • Work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

  • No call and no weekends

  • Care for pre- and post-procedure structural heart patients in both the hospital and clinic settings

  • No surgical responsibilities, aside from OR documentation

  • Collaborate closely with CT Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, and Advanced Practice Providers

  • Participate in administrative and operational activities necessary to support program accreditation

What you’ll bring

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

  • Current Colorado NP or PA license, or ability to obtain licensure

  • DEA registration and full prescriptive authority in Colorado

  • Minimum of two years of NP or PA experience in a cardiology setting

  • Previous structural heart experience preferred

This position is best suited for an experienced APP and is not available to new graduates.
